Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, ensuring on-time arrivals while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours of service (HOS) regulations.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
