As a professional truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the region. We offer paid training for those looking to obtain their CDL Class A license if you have the right attitude and work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience preferred, but we offer paid training for qualified candidates.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job.
