What You’ll Do
As a Class A Driver for Premier Logistics, you will be the face of our company. Your primary focus will be delivering our clients' goods safely and on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer (Class A) to transport freight to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Document delivery receipts and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both on and off the road.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and interstate driving regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and fuel calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
