Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on designated routes in and around the San Antonio area.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Verify delivery manifests and obtain signatures from recipients to ensure accurate drop-offs.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery status updates.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local San Antonio geography and traffic patterns.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
