Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo, verifying manifests and securing loads to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Deliver products to designated routes in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab, ensuring the vehicle is presentable at all times.
- Complete necessary paperwork and electronic logging (ELD) accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local or regional driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Minneapolis and Minnesota roadways and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
