Responsibilities
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trailers or delivery vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
- Safely navigate assigned routes to deliver freight to customers in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and feedback courteously.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in the company's handheld systems.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
