Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to deliver cargo on time.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (DVIR, Bills of Lading) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
