Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on interstate and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to prevent damage.
- Complete and maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in the United States.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road geography in the Eastern United States.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
