Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to deliver freight on schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
