Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and tie-down procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and hazardous materials handling (if applicable).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
