Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and weight distribution
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status and delays
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and ensure HOS compliance
- Represent company values through professional conduct and safety-first mindset
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient with ELD systems and route navigation software
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Excellent time management and communication skills
