Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and secure cargo using straps and chains, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logbooks, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A issued by the state of Washington.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong willingness to learn and obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if required.
- Valid Class B license is a major plus.
