Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs and mileage.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C or Commercial).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math and navigation skills.
