Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Los Angeles County
- Plan and optimize daily delivery schedules while meeting strict time windows
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and priority shipments
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent Premier Transport Solutions with professionalism during customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
