Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) limits.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in pristine condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation.
- Ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as needed.
