Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, legal, and courteous manner at all times.
- Deliver freight to customer sites accurately and on time, ensuring complete cargo integrity.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if required.
