Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of highway safety and traffic laws.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
