Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently operate Class A commercial trucks in all weather and road conditions.
- Pre-Trip/Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after every shift to ensure safety compliance.
- Cargo Handling: Securely load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is protected during transit.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Route Navigation: Utilize GPS systems to plan efficient routes and adhere to delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL: Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) issued by the state of Arizona.
- Clean Driving Record: Must possess a clean DMV abstract with no more than one moving violation in the past 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, pass a DOT physical, and operate manual transmission vehicles.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and understand traffic signs and maps.
