Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered intact to the destination.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with dispatch and clients.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within DOT regulations.
- Report mechanical issues, road hazards, and accidents immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a tractor-trailer.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to cross state lines and adhere to strict delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
