Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to deliver freight on time and damage-free.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safety during transit.
- Complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery logs, accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and professional driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
