Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Document accurate hours of service (HOS) using electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and secure cargo safely, ensuring weight distribution and load integrity.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and DOT compliance standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overnight travel.
