Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and maintain accurate delivery records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and adjust routes dynamically
- Maintain clean and organized vehicle interior to represent company professionalism
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with delivery route background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with GPS navigation technology and basic mobile device applications
- Strong time-management skills and ability to meet strict delivery schedules
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening as per DOT regulations
