Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations within Oakland and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be punctual, reliable, and customer-focused
- Knowledge of Oakland geography and traffic patterns
