Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo while adhering to all safety regulations and weight limits.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, highway safety, and navigation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and long distances as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service attitude.
