Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in all weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand trucks as required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and stay within Hours of Service.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic truck maintenance.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights and weekends.
