Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and securement practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Manage delivery timelines and resolve route challenges proactively
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of California highway systems and weight regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical loading duties
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- HAZMAT certification preferred but not required
