Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Pre-trip inspections and post-trip vehicle maintenance reporting
- Adhere to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Efficient load/un supervision at distribution centers
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and documentation
- Communicate dispatch updates and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with logistics team for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas highway systems and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
