Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A tractor-trailers in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and stay within all hours-of-service regulations.
- Secure cargo properly and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates and potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Current DOT medical card and insurability.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
