Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via ELD systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Collaborate with dock teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and TWIC card preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Texas roadways
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Hazmat endorsement a plus but not required
