Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers (Class A CDL) to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and fuel calculations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
