Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the transit process.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and ensure hours of service compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical) valid for at least 6 months.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hazardous materials handling (if applicable), and cargo securement.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
