Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on regional and long-haul routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure full FMCSA compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Navigate complex traffic patterns and delivery schedules to guarantee on-time arrivals.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT drug screen.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and handle overtime when required.
