Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques to ensure safety.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT compliance.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as required.
