Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner over designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks as required.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including HOS (Hours of Service).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Ensure the security and safety of the cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a road test demonstrating safe driving skills.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
