Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Inspect and maintain vehicle safety systems daily
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and local traffic laws
- Coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Document mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs accurately
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Represent TransitLogistics with professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and electronic logging
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
