Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight across the Midwest and beyond.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in the trucking industry.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Current DOT medical card and endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting purposes.
