Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional freight delivery across Nebraska and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Utilize GPS navigation and dispatch systems for efficient route planning
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and documentation
