Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Perform general truck maintenance and cleanliness duties.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on role).
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
