Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Trucks/Tractors) safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
