Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional and local delivery routes.
- Execute proper loading and unloading procedures, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
- Maintain strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and electronic logging device (ELD) usage.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and current DOT drug screen status.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and a road test.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
