Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Verify cargo contents and complete necessary delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, both on and off the road, reflecting our company's brand.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations regarding hours of service and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving Class A trucks.
- Must be available to work flexible weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass a physical agility test.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
