Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates and issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving freight, as well as sitting for extended periods.
