Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on time and in full, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required shipping documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service during every shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness and availability to work weekends and holiday shifts as required by business needs.
