Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over various terrains and weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading processes.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle handling, air brakes, and pre-trip inspections.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs during loading and unloading.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
