What You'll Do
As a Prime Inc Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across the United States. Your role is crucial in keeping the supply chain moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle (CMV) to deliver freight on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to FMCSA and company safety standards.
- Complete accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and mandatory paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity and weight distribution.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Prime Inc policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Willingness to travel and work varying shifts as needed.
