Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across California and the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- At least 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with navigating the San Francisco terrain and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
