Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Maintain accurate Daily Logs (ELD) and record all delivery information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all HOS (Hours of Service) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of CMV (Commercial Motor Vehicle) safety regulations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong customer service skills and reliability.
