Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route planning.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Experience with flatbed or dry van operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
