Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT drug screen on file.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and logistics procedures.
