Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on schedule across the Midwest region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo safely using proper lifting techniques and tie-down procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
